Presented by Macy’s, this popular event allows participants to enjoy half-off entry fees at 40 San Diego Museum Council membership museums. The savings encourages locals and visitors to explore a variety of arts, culture and science-oriented destinations. From Oceanside Museum of Art down to the Tijuana Estuary, there are ample opportunities for edutainment, creating memories and fun for the whole family.   Museum Month Passes may be picked up starting February 1st at any of Macy’s fourteen locations in the San Diego Area, Temecula and Imperial Valley. The course goes through Carlsbad Village and along the oceanfront Pacific Coast Highway. Participants will stay motivated with live bands every mile, spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and thousands of spectators and volunteers lining the course.   Each participant gets a technical fabric shirt, goodie bag, finisher’s medal and more.   The Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon start and finish at Westfield Plaza Camino Real located at: 2525 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, with over 6,000 free parking spaces.

Participants who are unable to maintain the required minute-mile pace will be redirected at Carlsbad Boulevard/Hwy 101 and Carlsbad Village Drive to the finish line via an alternate route. The diverted route will be marked and supported, and will equal the appropriate race distance.
